Terms and privacy

Who we are

SENJA is operated by UAB Moorio, a company registered in Lithuania. In these terms, “SENJA”, “we” and “us” mean UAB Moorio; “you” means the person using the SENJA mobile application and any related services (the “Service”).

Your account

An account is required to use SENJA, because your practice history, goals and journal travel with you across devices. You may create an account with an email address and password, or through Apple or Google sign-in. You must be at least 16 years old, or 13 with the consent of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

Subscriptions, the free month, and cancellation

SENJA is offered on two plans. Prices are in US dollars and include the first month at no charge.

The free month begins when you first subscribe and is available once per person. Nothing is charged during it. Unless you cancel before it ends, the plan you selected begins and the first payment is taken on that date. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from the App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or from You → Annual plan → Manage in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-periods, but if you cancel within 14 days of a first paid charge and have not downloaded content offline, write to us and we will refund it.

Where you purchase through the App Store or Google Play, billing, renewal and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms, and we ask you to raise refund requests there first.

SENJA is not medical care

SENJA offers meditation, breathing and journaling for general wellbeing. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. Do not use breathing exercises while driving, swimming, or doing anything else that requires your attention.

Your content and our content

Everything you write or speak into SENJA — journal entries, voice recordings, transcripts, intentions and goals — remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, encrypt, transcribe and display that content back to you, and to operate the Service. We do not sell it, publish it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train machine-learning models — ours or anyone else’s.

Meditations, recordings, written copy, the SENJA name and the sun-and-water mark are owned by UAB Moorio or its teachers and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use while your subscription is active. Please do not copy, re-record, resell or publicly perform them.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break, probe or overload the Service, use another person’s account, extract audio for redistribution, or use SENJA in any way that is unlawful. We may suspend an account that does so, and we will tell you why where we are permitted to.

Changes, availability and liability

We add and retire sessions over time, and we may change or discontinue parts of the Service. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance and offer a pro-rated refund of the unused period. We aim to keep SENJA available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and the courts of Vilnius have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

What we collect

SENJA has no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers and no social media pixels.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. When you first arrive we ask whether to allow optional analytics; nothing optional is loaded unless you accept. Your answer is remembered on your own device so you are not asked again, and you can change it at any time from Cookies in the footer.

The SENJA app does not use cookies. Your sign-in token, your goal and your reminder preferences are held in your device’s own secure storage, so the app remembers you between launches. Signing out or deleting the app removes them.

Strictly necessary storage — the record of your cookie choice, and your sign-in session — cannot be turned off, because the site and the app cannot work without it.

Voice notes and transcription

When you speak a journal entry, the audio is transcribed so you can read and edit it as text. Transcription runs on your device where the device supports it; where it does not, the audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our transcription processor, transcribed, and deleted from that processor within 24 hours. Transcripts and any audio you choose to keep are stored encrypted in your account. Recordings are never reviewed by a person and are never used as training data.

Notifications

Reminders — the morning intention, the evening unwind, kind reminders, gratitude and mindfulness prompts — are optional and off until you turn them on. Their text is generated on your device from a fixed library; we do not read your journal to write them. SENJA sends no more than three notifications a day, and you can turn any of them off in You → Remindersor in your phone’s settings.

Who else sees your data

We share personal data only with processors who help us run the Service, under contract and only for that purpose: cloud hosting and storage, crash reporting, transcription, email delivery and payment processing. We may disclose data where the law requires it, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so. If SENJA is ever acquired, your data would transfer with the Service and you would be told before anything changed.

Where we keep it, and for how long

Data is stored on servers in Lithuania and Ireland, with encryption in transit and at rest. Journal content is additionally encrypted with a per-account key. We keep your data while your account exists. If you delete your account, journal content and recordings are erased within 30 days and backups age out within 90; we keep a minimal billing record for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. You → Privacy & data offers a one-tap export of your journal and practice history as a file, and a permanent account deletion. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to privacy@getsenja.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this document

If we make a material change we will tell you in the app and by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the version number above will change. Continuing to use SENJA after that date means you accept the new version.
